This case is not cubital tunnel syndrome because this patient suffered from median nerve involvement, evident via the positive Tinel’s sign and the presentation of symptoms in the thumb and pointer finger. Cubital tunnel syndrome involves the ulnar nerve and it also typically presents with signs of compression at the elbow and not the wrist.
